Fitness & Movement
Physical fitness activities are designed to provide participants with meaningful opportunities to improve overall health, build strength, and increase independence in daily life. By focusing on accessibility, adaptability, and individual preferences, we create supportive exercise experiences that help participants develop relationships while enjoying the physical and emotional benefits of regular movement.
Program activities are based on individual ability and comfort level. These activities may include brisk walking and other movement-based low-impact exercises that promote heart health and stamina, as well as strength-building opportunities. Our elliptical machine and stationary bikes support cardiovascular and aerobic workouts. Light weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises help maintain muscle strength needed for everyday tasks. Flexibility and balance are also important components of our program, with stretching and range-of-motion activities that support coordination, stability, and safe movement throughout daily routines.
