Day habilitation at Beacon Achievement Center

We are a certified agency working with the Department of Developmental Disabilities to advance skills for adults who need continued support.  Our day habilitation program centers on the principle that everyone should have the freedom to live a gratifying, fulfilled life.   We recognize the individual needs of our clients, by promoting higher levels of independence through daily life and job skill development.  

Our vision is that society develops the competencies to create endless possibilities to help our participants infuse within their community.  We provide the utmost social, learning and emotional support to each client.  We aim to cultivate an environment of respect, independence, conscientiousness, and accountability within the neighborhood.  Through Behavior Management, we provide positive support systems to help each person realize his or her full potential.  These include day enrichment, lifelong learning, career exploration and employment preparation.
